Life...

For those of you who aren't aware, I'm officially SINGLE!  I've had mixed emotions but mostly I'm excited for a new start, to be able to fully move on.  Never did I think I'd be here in 5 years.  Not done w/ school, living in Florida, a divorcee w/ a 3 year old daughter and working in the Wedding Industry.  It's funny how your life takes over your life and goes the way it needs to go.  I know that going through all of this has made me stronger and my hopes are that it makes my future that much better.  So wish me luck on my new adventure!

As for the normal day to day, the job is still good.  I've worked a few events now and what do you know, I love it!  haha, I really do belong in this industry, no doubts about that.  The spring has finally hit Florida and it's now usually mid-70's to mid-80's.  I'm not gonna lie, this weather really likes me.  It's weird to be semi-tan in March.  Something so wrong and yet so right about that =)  Having nice weather again allows me to go on my bike rides again, oh how I've missed them.  I even bought a child carrier thingy to pull behind my bike so I can bring Lex w/ me.  She isn't in love with it yet, but I'm working on her.

Cami and Cori come this week, then we are off to Utah for a few days to pack up most of the house and visit w/ some friends.  Miles is taking Alexa for about a month before he heads off to training.  They should have fun =)

I've been slacking on pictures, but I promise I'll be better about updating photos!  We love you all and thanks for everyone for their support through this rough time.

I Love my Job

I could not have picked a more perfect job for me.  There are only 3 of us on payroll including the new who own it which are a married couple.  We all get along great and it ends up being less work and more fun.

I worked my first event this last Friday at the local hospital for the opening of a new wing.  It was fairly straight forward.  It was weird to be on the catering side.  For the past 6 months of so I was always overlooking the whole thing and I didn't realize how much work goes into just the catering.

Other than work life is ok.  We are heading back to Utah at the end of the month to bring Lex to Miles for the month of April before he heads into basic training.  That's right, Miles joined the National Guard.  (No comment).  Anyway, it'll be nice to get a break from the mom thing as well as finishing my finals, hopefully with A's.  Work is going to keep me pretty busy over the next 3 months.

Also in that time Cami is coming out w/ her BFF Cori and then my dad's twin brother and his wife are coming out so lots of entertaining going on here in Florida.

I've been blessed here to meet the coolest, most caring, genuine, best listener of a friend ever.  I'd say it's well deserved haha and I love her to death already.  She is preggo and due in just over a week.  I'm excited for little miss Ava to enter the world.

Anyway, things are good.  Alexa is happy, healthy and still as hilarious as can be.  Everyone here who has met her just gets a kick out of her.  Life is good, we are blessed.
