Update...

So it's official.  I start my new job this coming Monday at a Catering Company here at Jax Beach.  It's run by a husband and wife and is the absolute perfect job for me right now.  I'm excited to have something to do everyday, sitting around gets old, fast.  

So Alexa is in Utah right now spending time w/ Miles which means i have the week off!!!!  Let me tell you, I needed this break, badly.  It's been nice, sleeping in, staying out late, doing what I want when I want, but I do miss my lady.  She calls me every night and sings me a lullaby (one my mom wrote).  It's so sweet and totally on key, she is def. going to have the Burningham genes in the singing department.  She seems to be having a blast w/ her dad.  

The weather here is supposed to get up to 75 this friday which means I might treat myself to a night away at the beach somewhere.  Bring my laptop, a book, spoil myself a little, I deserve that right?  hahaha... at least that is what I'm going to tell myself.  

Anyway, things are good here on the mom and Lex front.  Excited to have my lady back w/ me this coming Sunday.  

The Beginning...

So our new life, as a family of 2 is about to begin.  It's official, we are moving permanently to Jacksonville Beach, FL.  I got a job working for a catering company here at the beach.  I will be doing assistant type work, working events and eventually hoping running the business side of things.  

For now we are living with my parents and getting adjusted to our new situation.  We are happy here and hope to create many wonderful memories here.  

I can for sure get used to living 1 minute from the beach, biking in 70 degree weather (at least for now haha), great, polite people, huge ratio of men to women and hopefully surfing.  I've found great friends and hopefully more to come.  

I'm moving on and finally ok with that...
